The Swedish camera maker Axis announced that on Feb 20, 2022, it had “shut down public-facing services globally with the intention to limit potential impact from an attack and to allow for mitigating actions.”

According to its update as of Feb 27, 2022 (2022–02–27 19:00 CET) on its website, the cyberattack had occurred between Feb 19 and Feb 20 at night — “Using several combinations of social engineering, attackers were able to sign in as a user despite protective mechanisms such as multifactor authentication.”
Axis has confirmed —
“No customer information has been found to be affected in any way.”
